Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
• Content Delivery & Proxy Management
• Configure, optimize, and maintain Akamai CDN for performance and security.
• Manage proxy servers (forward/reverse) to ensure secure traffic routing and compliance.
• Web & Application Infrastructure
• Administer and troubleshoot Apache web servers in production environments.
• Implement load balancing, caching, and SSL/TLS configurations.
• Linux System Administration
• Manage Linux-based servers, including patching, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Automate tasks using shell scripting or configuration management tools.
• Cloud & ITIL Practices
• Deploy and manage workloads on AWS (EC2, S3, CloudFront, IAM, etc.).
• Apply ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.
• Security & Compliance
• Implement access controls, monitoring, and logging for proxy and CDN environments.
• Collaborate with InfoSec teams to ensure compliance with organizational policies.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands-on experience with Akamai CDN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Apache web server administration.
• Solid knowledge of Linux OS (RedHat, Ubuntu, CentOS).
• Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management processes.
• Working knowledge of AWS cloud services.
• Experience with proxy technologies (Squid, Nginx, HAProxy, or equivalent).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
