Your responsibilities will include:
* Coordinating stakeholder engagement and adoption activities for learning analytics projects, including scheduling and supporting workshops, demonstrations, and feedback sessions with faculties and schools.
* Developing and maintaining clear, user-friendly resources that help non-technical staff access, interpret, and apply data from dashboards and educational technology platforms.
* Providing first-level support to staff, responding to enquiries about access, navigation, and high-level queries for both custom and vendor-supported analytics tools; resolving routine issues and triaging complex matters to specialist staff.
* Conducting project research and analysis, including collating usage data to track adoption, performing preliminary investigations of source data to identify alignment issues or operational barriers, and preparing recommendations for improvement.
Who we are looking for (selection criteria):
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical or data-related concepts to non-technical audiences and consult confidently with a diverse range of stakeholders.
* Well-developed digital literacy and problem-solving abilities, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis, the capacity to quickly learn new software (such as data visualisation tools or LMS platforms), and the ability to diagnose and resolve routine user issues.
* Research and analytical capabilities, with experience investigating data consistency, gathering user feedback, collating basic datasets, and summarising insights to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
* Demonstrated project management and organisational skills, including the ability to coordinate engagement activities, contribute to training and support initiatives, manage competing priorities, and maintain high levels of accuracy and detail in documentation and task tracking within deadlines.
Desirable:
* Experience working on technically oriented projects, such as data, reporting, or analytics initiatives, and is comfortable collaborating with developers, analysts, or data engineers.
* Demonstrated interest in further developing technical skills in areas such as scripting, data analysis, or basic dashboard configuration and development.
Role Requirements:
1. As this is a fixed-term contract, you will require current work rights in Australia that match the tenure of this role
