About the role
Coho Group Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Body Truck / Truck & Dog Operators to join our team on a contract basis in Roma, QLD. As a key member of oil and gas drilling operations, you will play a vital role in transporting and land spraying drill waste material.
What you'll be doing
* Operating our Landspray Units, which includes a custom built tri-axle truck with vacuum tank and agitator system, and a quad axle dog with vacuum tank and agitator system.
* Drill Rig support. Transporting water, mud and drilling waste materials between work sites, land spray sites and/or disposal facility.
* 12-hour shifts, 6am - 6pm or 6pm - 6am. Alternating each swing.
* Daily pre-start inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working order
* Submitting Daily Reports
* Open communication with your site representative and Coho Supervisor
* Adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment
What we're looking for
* Valid open HC or MC driver's licence
* Experienced 18 speed road ranger transmission.
* Minimum 1 year of truck and dog/heavy vehicle operating experience
* Oil and gas industry experience preferred, however mining or other heavy transport experience will be considered
* Knowledge of relevant transport, heavy vehicle, and workplace health and safety regulations
* Hands on operators, forward thinkers and planners
