Involved in ports, mines & heavy industry, you’ll provide management support whilst managing the day to day needs of teams undertaking structural engineering designs, inspections, investigations and repair designs for a range of clients and client sites.
This will be ideally suited to:
An experienced Senior Structural Engineer with demonstrated business unit, team management and engineering design skills, or
A Principal Structural Engineer with design, technical and people management skills, who is ready to step up to the next level. Future equity may be available for the right person.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate resources to execute work on time, budget & quality
Manage and mentor engineers and drafters
Provide technical support and guidance to the business
Coordinate and manage higher level projects
Manage clients including some business development functions
Key Skills & Attributes
Impeccable verbal, interpersonal & written communication skills
High level technical ability in structural design in materials handling
Bulk materials handling exp. (shiploaders, stacker/reclaimers AS4324)
FEA modeling exp eg Strand7 and SpaceGass
Ability to lead and manage engineering teams
Ability to develop new and foster existing client relationships
Hold RPEQ and/or CPEng
