Overview
Amana Living – supported by Armadale Volunteer Services – Camillo WA. We are looking for volunteers to visit residents weekly for a friendly, social chat. You can visit one resident or a couple, depending on your time (typically an hour or two per week). Volunteers work alongside the allied health team and can participate in activities during one-on-one visits such as chatting, board games, reading magazines or newspapers, discussing books, simple art and craft, listening to music, watching movies, and sharing talents like chess, knitting, or gardening where possible. Smiling and laughter help make a difference in someone's life.
Our team will discuss your interests and hobbies and match you to a resident for regular visits.

Responsibilities
* Visit residents on a regular basis for one-on-one social interaction.
* Engage in activities such as chatting, board games, reading, crafts, music, movies, or other hobbies that residents enjoy.
* Support the resident's social engagement and well-being in coordination with the allied health team.
* Share any relevant talents or interests that could benefit residents (e.g., chess, knitting, gardening).
Commitment & Work Type
* Commitment: Regular – less than 6 months
