Role Overview
As a Security Officer Supervisor, you will lead and support security operations on remote sites, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and delivering a high standard of service.
This role requires strong leadership, communication skills, and the ability to work in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate security team activities on site.
Conduct regular foot and mobile patrols.
Respond to fire/security alarms, anti-social behaviour, room lockouts, and administer basic first aid.
Perform gatehouse and access control duties.
Monitor CCTV systems and report incidents.
Provide basic crowd control when required.
Compile security audits and incident reports.
Ensure compliance with company and client safety standards.
Minimum 2 years' experience as a Security Supervisor.
Minimum 2 years FIFO security experience.
Cert II in Security Operations.
Current Security Officer Licence and Crowd Control Licence.
Manual Driver's Licence.
National Police Clearance
White Card, RSA Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
Ability and willingness to complete prerequisite training:
Snake Handler Certificate of Competency
Drug & Alcohol Screening Training
Driver Training
Fire Response Training
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in remote locations under extreme weather conditions.
Desirable Qualifications
MSIC (Maritime Security Identification Card).
Aviation Screening Qualification.
Operate Light Vehicle Certification.
Fire Extinguisher Training.
CCTV and Operations Centre experience.
Confined Space Emergency Training (PUAWER008B).
Traffic Management Training (RIIWHS302D).
Previous Defence Force or Police experience.
ESH (Environment, Safety & Health) qualifications.
Fully paid training prior to deployment at our Perth Academy.
