Technical Sales Representative - Comminution Aftermarket
Weir's Comminution business is entering an exciting phase of growth, presenting a unique opportunity to expand our market presence in crushing aftermarket parts. The role is onsite in Perth, WA.
We are actively engaging with all major mining customers to promote and grow our ESCO Inside wear liner footprint—both within the existing Weir installed base and across competitor equipment. Strong networking capabilities within the mining industry, as well as the Sand & Aggregates markets, will be highly advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver exceptional customer service and aftermarket support, ensuring responsiveness and technical guidance across the Comminution product range.
* Identify and propose product trial opportunities backed by commercially sound business cases aimed at improving customer Total Ownership Costs (TOC).
* Monitor and report TOC performance regularly, highlighting measurable improvements and cost savings achieved through Weir (ESCO) Wear Liners.
* Achieve and exceed sales targets by executing technically and commercially aligned quotes and tenders and managing opportunities via CRM/Salesforce.
* Collaborate with cross‐functional teams to support product development, go‐to‐market planning, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline is preferred; equivalent combinations of education and experience will also be considered.
* Demonstrated success in technical sales within the mineral processing equipment sector, with a strong understanding of crushing equipment.
* Proven experience in aftermarket sales, specifically focused on crusher wear liner products.
* Familiarity with CRM systems such as Salesforce for managing sales pipelines and customer interactions.
* Ability to meet performance objectives through strategic customer engagement and product knowledge.
