An exciting opportunity now exists for an Executive Manager Wellbeing and Disability to join UCWB’s Executive Leadership team at a pivotal time in the organisation’s evolution. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the Executive Manager Wellbeing & Disability will lead the strategic direction, performance and growth of UCWB’s wellbeing and disability services, including Aspire Recovery Connection’s 100% Lived Experience Services, Carer Services, Support Coordination and Specialist Support Coordination. This exciting role is responsible for ensuring services are community and customer-focused, commercially sustainable, innovative and underpinned by strong governance, lived experience frameworks and continuous improvement.
Leading a multidisciplinary team, the role will drive strategic growth aligned to business plans, strengthen service integration, oversee quality and risk, and ensure contractual, regulatory and legislative obligations are met. The Executive Manager will also foster a vibrant, values-based culture, build strong sector partnerships, identify and deliver opportunities for growth and innovation.
The successful candidate will be an experienced executive leader with substantial people management capability and a strong background in wellbeing, disability or community services. You will bring strong business acumen, your own lived experience, sound judgement and highly developed stakeholder engagement skills, along with the ability to influence change, lead high-performing teams and navigate complexity. A genuine commitment to lived experience approaches and inclusive, community-focused outcomes will be critical to success in this role.
