Your new role
As the Asset Inspector, you will travel between multiple sites Monday to Friday, conducting detailed inspections and documenting asset condition, defects, and compliance information. You will collect accurate data, take photos, update digital systems, and ensure all reporting meets required standards. This role is ideal for someone comfortable working autonomously, travelling frequently, and maintaining structured, accurate field documentation.
Your work will involve:
* Visiting a scheduled list of sites daily across the region
* Conducting visual inspections and condition assessments
* Capturing and recording asset information, photos, measurements, and condition notes
* Identifying risks, defects, maintenance needs, and compliance issues
* Updating asset management systems with accurate and complete data
* Liaising professionally with site contacts and stakeholders
* Delivering reliable documentation to support long‑term asset planning
What you'll need to succeed
The following will be highly regarded:
* Previous experience in asset inspections, condition assessments, facilities, building, or maintenance roles
* Strong attention to detail and confidence documenting findings accurately
* Ability to work independently and manage a travel‑heavy schedule
* Excellent communication and professionalism when dealing with site representatives
* Competence using mobile devices, digital forms or asset management software
* A valid driver's licence and willingness to travel Monday-Friday
* Availability for an immediate start and commitment for 1-3 months
