JASON WARREN RACING – Racing Secretary / Personal Assistant (PA) – Mornington Peninsula
We're looking for the right person to step into a really special role with our family business.
Our amazing Rebecca (my PA and our racing secretary) has been with us for 3 years and I'm genuinely so sad to be losing her. The upside? She'll be here for the next couple of months, so you'll get full training and a proper handover.
This is an interesting, fast-paced job for someone who loves racing and understands it's a non-stop industry. It can be flexible, but it does require reliability and a "we get it done" attitude.
What the role includes
Previous office or administration experience is needed.
You'll work closely with me (Kate) and our team, doing a mix of racing admin + PA support, including:
* Racing Secretary duties: horse IDs, naming, stable returns
* Liaising with Racing Australia / RV systems, Stuart and relevant bodies
* Compliance: rules, regulations, treatments, documentation
* Liaising with suppliers + service providers
* Assisting with rosters, coordination and general office operations
* PA tasks: running errands, organising, follow-ups, keeping things moving
* Handling sensitive info with confidentiality and discretion

* Someone passionate about racing (or keen to grow into the racing admin side)
* A stable hand looking to branch into office / administration
* Or an admin/PA with strong organisation who wants a hands-on racing role
* Comfortable with a role that isn't strictly "9–5"
* Driver's licence essential
* Reliable, proactive, calm under pressure
Flexibility / hybrid options
We can look at a hybrid role where you're learning the racing secretary side, with the option to also help in the stables as you build confidence in the admin work.
