Future Select specialise in recruitment within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry and we are working closely with a reputable company that provides the full range of Water Hygiene / Legionella management services. They are now looking to take on a Water Hygiene Engineer / Remedial Plumber to cover Healthcare, Educational, Facilities Management, and Leisure across the Midlands/M1 region. Experience & Qualifications
* Will have experience working hands on for a reputable Water Hygiene / Legionella company.
* Holding an industry relevant qualification would be beneficial to the role, e.g., City and Guilds / NVQ L2 or higher in plumbing.
* Fully conversant in HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
* Holding the G3 unvented ticket would be beneficial but not essential.
* Familiar with updating onsite logbooks.
* Excellent time management and communication skills.
The Role
* Water sampling.
* Temperature monitoring.
* TMV servicing, monitoring, and failsafe testing.
* CWST cleans and chlorination.
* Showerhead cleans and descales.
* Deadleg removals.
* Expansion valve replacement.
* Replacing and rerouting pipework (PVC & copper).
* CWST refurbishment.
* Closed system sampling, analysis, and dosing with correct chemicals.
* Attending site to carry out fault finding, ensuring that any issues are resolved in a timely manner.
* Ensuring work adheres to HSG 274 / ACoP L8 guidelines.
* Updating onsite logbooks upon completion of work.
* Working on Healthcare, Educational, Facilities Management, and Leisure sites.
