Job Summary
Fronditha Care is seeking an experienced Senior Communications Advisor to join the Communications Team on a full-time basis. Reporting to the General Manager, Corporate Communications, this role is responsible for developing and delivering communication strategies that support key organisational projects and priorities. The position works closely with members of the Office of the CEO, senior managers and key internal stakeholders.
The day-to-day responsibilities:
* Collaborate with the General Manager, to shape key communications that support organisational priorities and reflect Fronditha Care’s direction.
* Partner with member of the Office of the CEO, senior managers and internal teams to coordinate clear, timely messaging across multiple channels.
* Draft, review and manage high-quality written materials including executive updates, staff communications, and formal reports.
* Support the design and rollout of projects such as newsletters, videos, campaign content, that enhance the visibility of the Fronditha Care Foundation.
* Coordinate internal engagement activities that foster staff connection, reinforce shared values and align with organisational goals.
* Contribute to the communication planning of major projects and events by developing audience-focused approaches that supports effective delivery.
* Maintain and identify enhancements to internal communication systems and processes, i.e. Intranet, working with stakeholders to keep content relevant, accessible and engaging.
* Identify communication risks and provide well-considered, practical advice that supports leadership decision-making.
* Prepare briefings, correspondence and Board-level documents with accuracy, clarity and a strong understanding of audience and purpose.
* Support day-to-day team operations by managing task workflows, tracking deliverables and contributing to ongoing improvement efforts.
What success looks like for this role:
* Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, marketing or a related discipline.
* 5+ years’ experience in communications role, ideally within a medium to large organisation.
* Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality, audience-focused content across multiple formats and communication channels.
* Creative and inclusive mindset, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
* Strong analytical thinking and commercial acumen, with the ability to influence, negotiate and engage with a high degree of interpersonal sensitivity.
* Knowledge of aged care, health sector, or equivalent is highly regarded.
* An understanding and appreciation of cultural diversity.
