Your role involves acting for respondent parties in numerous native title claims and advising a diverse client base, encompassing local governments, government corporations, developers, and pastoral holders on the native title and cultural heritage aspects of major infrastructure and development projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Strategic Advice: Provide expert guidance on compliance with native title and Aboriginal cultural heritage legislation.
* Court Representation: Appear in Federal Court mediations and case management hearings.
* Due Diligence Investigations: Conduct thorough investigations and deliver insightful assessment advice.
* Negotiation Support: Assist in negotiations on Indigenous Land Use Agreements and Cultural Heritage Agreements.
