About the work unit / facility Parklands Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) is a Queensland Health managed aged care service within the Townsville Hospital and Health Service (THHS) and is loated in Townsville at the Kirwan campus. The facility provides care for 70 residents with 30 places for dementia care and 40 places for older persons who require care due to fragility and complex needs. Parklands provides a multidisciplinary approach to care delivery with a focus on resident's rights and choices. With the introduction of the aged care nursing ratios, all nursing staff work together to provide resident focused quality nursing care that meets the aged care quality standards. Requirements: * Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent certification relevant to the position. * Appointment to this position requires proof of qualification and registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). * Appointees will be required to work all shifts in accordance with the unit rosster, which will include participation in an on-call roster.
