Introduction:
Powertech Resourcing is a multidisciplinary commissioning organisation providing services to the energy and resources sectors throughout Australia.
Due to continued growth and expansion in the business, we are currently taking applications for Instrumentation Commissioning Technicians to join our clients team.
Duration: 12 months
Roster: 10 hours per day | Monday - Friday (Weekend work as required)
Location: East Rockingham.
Main responsibilities include but are not limited to :
* Ensuring that instrumentation and control systems are properly installed, tested, and commissioned
* Ensuring that all systems are fully functional and meet operational, safety, and regulatory standards before they are handed over for production.
* Installation Checks, Functional Loop Checks, C&E Testing, Logic Verification, SIF Testing & System Start-Up support
* Calibrations, Installation Checks, Functional Loop Checks, Logic Verification.
* Commissioning/start-up Tasks: Logic Rectification & Loop Tuning.
* Develop Safety Instrumented Function Test procedures.
* Comply with site workplace health and safety procedures, legislation, and policy always, creating a zero-harm workplace and manage cable tray installation and switchboard terminations.
Experience, skills and qualifications:
* Cert III or IV Instrumentation
* Construction White card
* CPR/LVR (Desirable)
* First Aid (Desirable)
