About you:
In your new role you will:
Conduct regular rounding of wards/units to ensure workloads are being managed, breaks are taken, patients that require increased supervision are reviewed with appropriate resource allocation for the provision of safe clinical care.
Provide clinical and professional leadership to nursing and midwifery practice to ensure national standards are being met.
Take the lead for bed management co-ordination and admissions are distributed, accounting for acuity, workload, and staffing. This includes Interhospital transfers.
