This is an exciting opportunity to join our Advanced Training Program for General and Acute Care Medicine Trainees. As a trainee, you will have access to 6-month core rotations in Core General Medicine, Core General Medicine Related, SJOG Geelong, Senior Medical Registrar, Core subspecialty, Intensive Care Unit (Acute), Respiratory (Acute), Cardiology (Acute), and Gastroenterology.
The program aims to provide trainees with a training experience that meets their personal preferences and RACP training requirements. You will have opportunities to develop leadership skills, participate in clinical governance and quality assurance activities, work closely with consultants taking on clinical lead roles with supervision.
We also support trainees in their research and teaching interests having an affiliation with Deakin University, as well as providing teaching embedded within rotation units, with links to state-wide General Medicine Advanced Trainee education programs.
