Chef - On a Truffle Farm
, you will play a crucial role in showcasing the unique and flavoursome truffles we produce to our guests through creative and delectable dishes. This is a full-time position based at our Hound and Hunter Fine Foods site in Manjimup, Western Australia.

What you'll be doing
Preparing and cooking high-quality, innovative meals and dishes that feature our premium truffles
Collaborating with the farm team to select the best truffles for each dish
Designing seasonal menus that highlight the finest local produce and our exceptional truffles
Overseeing the kitchen operations, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality
Providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests
Mentoring and training junior kitchen staff
Leading kitchen sections and supervising culinary team members to ensure smooth operations
Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen environment
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Chef, preferably in a high-end restaurant or premium food-focused establishment
Formal culinary training or qualifications
Extensive knowledge and experience working with premium ingredients, particularly truffles
Creativity and innovation in menu design and dish creation
Strong leadership and mentoring skills to guide and develop a kitchen team
Excellent time management, organisation and problem-solving abilities
A passion for locally sourced, sustainable and seasonal produce
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Valid Australian work visa required at time of application
