Electrical Engineering Leader
This pivotal role is responsible for ensuring compliance with electrical engineering standards and legislation while providing exceptional leadership, technical expertise, and direction across all electrical projects and maintenance activities.

About the Role
* Lead, manage, and control all electrical engineering functions on site.
* Oversee the design, installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment and installations.
* Manage all electrical work and activities carried out near electrical installations.
* Develop, supervise, and review electrical engineering standards and procedures for mining operations.
* Establish systems and controls to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Work closely with operations to select, install, and maintain underground electrical equipment.
* Oversee underground automation and control systems.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs.
* Ensure effective management, overhaul, and repair of explosion-protected equipment, including conformity assessments.
* Maintain electrical installations, reticulation, and protection systems in alignment with the Life of Mine (LOM) plan.
* Provide technical support, mentoring, and coaching to electrical engineers, coordinators, and trades.
* Lead electrical engineering projects and actively contribute to the defect elimination process.
