A major government agency is seeking an experienced Senior Platform Engineer (Sr. DevOps Engineer) for a 12-month contract to lead the design, automation, and management of cloud-based data infrastructure-primarily focused on Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) systems.

What you'll be doing:
* Designing and managing enterprise-scale data infrastructure in the cloud (AWS, Azure)
* Driving automation through infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines
* Ensuring seamless integration of EDW with modern tools like dbt, Airflow, and other cloud-native services
* Collaborating with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and platform specialists
* Enhancing observability, security, and performance of data systems
We're looking for:
* 5+ years of experience in Data & Analytics Platforms
* Hands-on experience with SAS Grid, SAS Visual Analytics & Teradata
* Strong understanding of DevOps integration in data environments
* Proven expertise in enterprise solution delivery and system integration
* Government experience preferred
Nice to have:
* Certifications in SAS, Teradata, DevOps, Agile, or ITIL
