Sales Representative (Protective Coatings)
Support the Sales Manager in promoting and selling Protective Coatings products to new/existing customers, developing strong relationships, and utilizing Jotun sales tools and techniques to achieve budgeted sales, gross margin, DSO, with the aim of increasing Jotun market share and profitability across a small customer base in Victoria & Tasmania.
Responsibilities:
* Support the Sales manager to achieve sales targets by managing relationships with customers and pursuing profitable growth opportunities in assigned customer accounts.
* Develop customer account plans for all assigned customers by identifying relevant customer needs, prioritizing initiatives, and company resources to meet customers' needs.
* Gain approvals on Jotun products for targeted projects by providing necessary technical and commercial information to key decision makers.
* Maintain an updated database on targeted construction projects and architects.
* Build a strong business network within the consultant, architect, designer, and project specifier space by initiating contact to support Jotun's specification approvals.
* Conduct technical and commercial training to increase Jotun's visibility and maximise recognition through the architect channel.
* Monitor construction and paint industry trends, using collected data to support Jotun's position in the market by promoting and implementing Jotun products and concepts.
Key Requirements:
* Proactive mindset with strong communication skills
* Experience in Performance/Industrial Coatings and/or auxiliary industries is preferred
* Exposure to Architect/Specification discussions & submissions is an advantage
* Willing to travel
* Must hold full working rights in Australia (Australian citizen or Permanent Resident)
* Tertiary education is preferred
