Introduction

Senior Associate level role (initial 6‐month secondment, with a clear intention to convert the role to a permanent position subject to performance and business needs.)

Key Responsibilities

* Leading the review, drafting and negotiation of complex commercial contracts
* Advising clients during tender and bid phases, including review of RFPs, tender submissions and downstream contractual documentation
* Supporting clients across the full project lifecycle, from pre‐contract strategy to execution and delivery
* Providing commercial and legal advice aligned to sales pipeline milestones, including risk allocation, pricing structures and delivery models
* Managing transactions and matters end‐to‐end, including coordinating internal and external stakeholders
* Applying strong project management discipline to ensure matters are delivered efficiently, on time and within scope
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients, with a high degree of autonomy and responsibility

About You

* Admitted to practise in Australia
* Typically 5–8+ years' post‐qualification experience in private practice
* Strong background in contracting, commercial transactions and project‐based work
* Demonstrated experience advising clients in the engineering, industrial, construction or infrastructure sectors
* Comfortable working with complex contractual risk profiles and tight commercial timeframes
* Commercially astute, with the ability to provide practical, solution‐focused advice
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and stakeholder‐management skills
* Able to manage multiple matters concurrently with minimal supervision
