Job Title
We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Electronic Document and Records Management Specialist. This position involves overseeing all aspects of the Council's Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS), ensuring the security and integrity of Council records.
About the Role
This role is responsible for championing, promoting, managing, and supporting the use of electronic records management within the organization. The successful candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of technical proficiency.
* Coordinate and oversee all aspects of the EDRMS, ensuring seamless operation and optimal system use.
* Maintain and assist in the review of EDRMS and current processes for information dissemination, business classification protocol, and business rules for records capture, access, security, sentencing, and disposal.
* Provide advice, training, resources, and information to business units to support good records management practices in the use of the EDRMS.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Administering the EDRMS to enable efficient capture, storage, access, sentencing, and disposal/archiving of Council records.
* Maintaining and assisting in the review of EDRMS and current processes.
* Providing advice, training, resources, and information to business units.
* Coordinating the setup of EDRMS super users.
* Monitoring and reporting on performance and compliance with EDRMS protocols and controls.
* Liaising and working with external providers to support system enhancements and issue resolution.
