Sushi Regal located in Maitland NSW 2320 is seeking to employ a full-time chef who is reliable, experienced and passionate in what they do.
Responsibilities
- Plan, design and create menus
- Assisting in team rosters
- Training and mentoring all our kitchen staff
- Managing protected food handling
- Budgeting and working out costs
- Ordering of all ingredients/needs within the kitchen
- Stock take and managing stock control
- Manage the quality of dishes all stages
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experiences as a chef with a focus on Asian (Korean & Japanese) cuisine
- Ability to manage the kitchen independently
- Formal qualification in commercial cookery or equivalent preferred
- Attention to detail and a dedication to quality
- A commitment to maintaining the restaurant's high standards
- A passion for culinary creativity and innovation
