Join Corrs Chambers Westgarth, Australia's leading independent law firm. We're seeking a highly experienced Legal Assistant to join our Commercial Litigation team, supporting multiple partners and a dynamic group of lawyers.
What You'll Be Doing
In this role, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring the smooth running of litigation matters. Your responsibilities will include:
* Diary and inbox management across multiple stakeholders
* Billing, time recording, expense management, and reporting
* Drafting and preparing correspondence and Court documents
* Filing and service of Court documents
* Handling telephone enquiries and building strong internal and external relationships
* Managing matters from opening to archiving, including electronic and physical filing
* Coordinating travel arrangements and event logistics
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you'll bring:
* Exceptional organisational skills and a proactive mindset
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Confidence working independently and managing competing priorities
* Advanced proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Strong experience with CMS Aderant or similar finance systems
* Expertise in NetDocuments or other document management platforms
