**Your new company**
Our client is a global supplier of OEM and aftermarket solutions for commercial vehicle manufacturers from specialty industries. They are part a Fortune 500 public company with Australian operations based in the Western suburbs of Melbourne. The business consists of axles, brake and safety systems, drivelines, suspensions, trailers, and aftermarket products for defence industries and commercial vehicles including truck, trailer, bus/coach, and off-highway.
**Your new role**
The Sales Manager - Truck & Bus has the responsibility to manage all aspects of existing OEM key accounts. You will drive market share through identifying sales opportunities and developing market penetration strategies including product positioning strategies and OEM sales promotions, as well as leading projects for future growth. The position has 2 x direct reports (Territory Managers) who you will support to ensure all OEM dealer & key fleet requirements are being met by the company's products and services. Your role requires analysing market penetrations and market trends to support the preparation of sales forecasts for use in planning and implementing brand, product expansion and customer support programs. You will conduct technology review meetings to showcase new global products and technology. A full position description will be made available during the screening and interview process.
**What you'll need to succeed**
- Previous OEM key account management experience
- Product and industry knowledge within the commercial heavy vehicle industry
- Strong track record in sales and business development
- Outstanding leadership, problem solving & communication skills
- A 'can do' attitude and a willingness to work in a team environment
- Ability to develop and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong computer skills (especially in Excel & PowerPoint)
- Current Australian drivers license and full work rights
**What you'll get in return**
