What you'll do
As a Lecturer (Paramedicine), you will play a key role in the ongoing development of UniSQ's Paramedicine programs. Your expertise and experience - both in academia and on the frontlines of paramedicine - will enable you to:
* deliver engaging, high-quality courses in Paramedicine through both online and face-to-face formats.
* oversee and guide student clinical placements, providing real-world, hands-on learning experiences.
* collaborate with a growing, diverse team while forging strong industry connections to ensure our teaching program is modern, relevant, and aligned with positive student outcomes.
* contribute to research and scholarship in Paramedicine, advancing the field and enhancing knowledge.
Appointment will be made as either a Teaching and Research or Education Specialist academic, depending on your experience.
What will help you succeed
As Lecturer (Paramedicine), you may have a research track record (Teaching and Research) or extensive clinical and/or tertiary teaching experience (Education Specialist). Together with your relevant qualifications in Paramedicine and current registration (or eligibility to register) with the Paramedicine Board of Australia, you will have:
* demonstrated professional experience in Paramedicine, combined with a passion for teaching and guiding future healthcare leaders.
* proven experience in delivering engaging and reflective approaches to teaching that fosters student success.
* experience in conducting meaningful research that advances the field of Paramedicine and engages with industry and funding opportunities (Teaching and Research).
* strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to build effective relationships with students, staff, and industry partners.
