Neuro Occupational Therapist – Join a Supportive, Specialist Team

Full-time or part-time | Geelong & Surrounds | $90K–$110K + super + perks

Start mid-July 2026

Looking for more than just a job?

At Will & Way, we believe experienced OTs deserve a workplace that truly values their expertise. If you’re passionate about supporting people with neurological and physical disabilities, want to work within a highly skilled team, and are ready to deepen your specialist practice, we’d love to meet you.

Why Will & Way?

Stability & Security
We’re a well-established, trusted practice with a clear vision and experienced leadership. You’ll join a connected, values-led team - not a startup, sole trader model, or large organisation where you feel like just another number.

Specialist Pathways
This role is ideal for OTs wanting to work at a complex clinical level in:

* Neurological conditions

* Physical disability

* Complex home modifications

* Seating, pressure care, and equipment prescription

* Manual handling

* Life transition management

You’ll receive expert mentoring and support - without the expectation to “know it all” from day one.

Real, Meaningful Support

* Intensive 1:1 onboarding

* Protected supervision time

* Regular in-services

* Daily access to senior clinicians who genuinely invest in your growth

Nature-Filled Therapy Centre
Work from our beautiful Moolap Therapy Centre, complete with your own ergonomic desk, indoor plants, and nature-filled outdoor spaces.

Sustainable Productivity, Not Clock-Watching
We focus on the quality of clinical outcomes - not just billable hours. You won’t be left to figure it out alone; we’ve built strong systems, support structures, and tools so you can learn quickly and practise at your best. Clear expectations are balanced with supervision, training, and an understanding of each clinician’s strengths.

Competitive Package

* $90,000–$110,000 + super, based on experience

* Car travel allowance in line with the award

* Work phone and laptop

* Company-paid parental leave

* Generous professional development support

About Us

At Will & Way, we do things differently. Our team of experienced Occupational Therapists, led by Claire Brice and Coralie Cooper, is guided by our shared values:

* Our curiosity and creativity drive us

* We are responsive, reliable, and honest

* We build genuine connections

* We are committed to growth and continuous learning

* We achieve results

With over 140 years of combined OT experience across our 14 team members (plus our two much-loved dogs - the Will & Way Happiness Helpers), we support people aged 16+ throughout Geelong and surrounds - at home, in the community, at work, or via telehealth.

We take an evidence-based, person-centred approach that’s earned us a reputation as both a trusted service and a genuinely great place to work.

About You

You are an Occupational Therapist with a minimum of 3 years post-graduation clinical experience, and you:

* Are passionate about and experienced in supporting people with complex physical and neurological needs

* Enjoy working in community-based and functional settings

* Have strong clinical reasoning and report-writing skills

* Are confident working independently while valuing collaboration and support

* Communicate clearly and build strong therapeutic relationships

Essential Requirements
* AHPRA registration

* Minimum 3 years’ OT experience

* Experience in neurological and/or physical disability

* Driver’s licence and reliable vehicle

Bonus points if you have experience in community OT, home modifications, complex equipment prescription, or NDIS/TAC!

The Role
* 1 x full-time position available (part-time considered, minimum 3 days/week)

* Start mid-July 2026

* Flexible work arrangements

* Local caseload across Geelong & surrounds

* Access to admin support and well-developed systems

* Clear career progression pathways, including leadership opportunities

What You’ll Be Doing
* Supporting a caseload of participants with physical and neurological disability to identify meaningful goals and live safe, fulfilling lives across home, community, and work environments

* Assessing, prescribing, and supporting the safe and effective use of assistive technology and home modifications

* Providing education and training to carers and support workers to ensure they have the skills to deliver safe, efficient, and high‑quality care and movement support, including manual handling and safe transfers

* Supporting people through significant life transitions, such as discharge from hospital following new injury or diagnosis, returning to work, or moving into a new home

* Completing comprehensive assessments and developing capacity‑building interventions to support functional skills, independence, confidence, and autonomy

* Writing high‑quality, evidence‑based reports to support funding applications and inform NDIA and TAC plan development

* Working collaboratively with each participant’s broader support network, including family, informal supports, allied health professionals, support coordinators, and support workers

* Working intentionally and efficiently to deliver high‑value interventions that make a meaningful difference for participants, while maintaining accurate, timely clinical documentation and managing your workload effectively

* Using in‑house templates, systems, and digital tools designed to support you to work efficiently, build skill and confidence quickly, and deliver your best work

* Contributing to a kind, curious, and creative team culture that values reflection, growth, and shared learning

* Identifying opportunities to improve services, systems, and your own professional practice

* Representing Will & Way with integrity, care, and a genuine commitment to excellence in everything you do
