Senior Project OfficerHomes NSW • Location: Southern & Western District| Housing Services • Employment type – Temporary Opportunity's up to 12 months, with possibility of extension, Talent Pool will also be created • Salary – 9/10, Salary ($129,464 – 142,655) pa, plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading • Ability to travel across Southern & Western District About the role The Senior Project Officer will engage with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen communication across Homes NSW. This is a dynamic and impactful role requiring strong stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and strategic communication skills. The role presents a valuable opportunity to contribute to significant initiatives that enhance collaboration and foster effective stakeholder relationships, while delivering meaningful outcomes for tenants and communities. The role requires flexibility and a willingness to work across Southern and Western District, with a primary focus on Western NSW. What you will be doing As Senior Project Officer, you will: • Prepare, review, and coordinate high-quality briefings and correspondence for the Director. • Collaborate effectively with Team Leaders and Housing Managers across the Business Unit. • Contribute to the implementation of strategic initiatives and provide support to executive functions. • Design, deliver, and evaluate engagement initiatives that amplify frontline feedback, drive service improvements, and strengthen workplace relationships. • Build and maintain strong partnerships between frontline offices, stakeholders, and Homes NSW to enhance communication, improve service accessibility, and promote sustainable tenancies. • Partner with the Housing Portfolio team to oversee vacant properties, coordinate disability modifications, and support the management of maintenance requests. Who are we looking for? • A high level of capability to quickly adapt, work independently, and hit the ground running with a proactive, can-do attitude. • Strong stakeholder engagement, project coordination, and strategic communication skills to support the delivery of meaningful outcomes for tenants and communities. • Well-developed negotiation and communication skills to provide effective support to the district and manage complex stakeholder interactions. • Experience working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners to strengthen communication, improve service access, and support sustainable tenancies. • Maintain cultural sensitivity and inclusive practices in all engagements. • Proven ability to design, deliver, and evaluate initiatives that incorporate frontline feedback, drive service improvements, and foster strong working relationships. • Resilience, flexibility, and a solutions-focused approach to support evolving priorities in a dynamic operating environment.
