Are you a Solution Architect / Engineer ready to drive meaningful transformation across secure government environments?
Resolve Recruit is seeking an experienced Senior Solutions Engineer to support a major applications modernisation program. You’ll Design, develop and implement technical solutions to support the Digital Uplift Program (DUP) in this prominent Federal Government Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders including program managers, delivery managers, and system analysts to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.
- Develop and document system architectures, technical specifications, and integration plans for government projects.
- Provide expert guidance and technical leadership during the design, development, and deployment phases of projects.
- Ensure all solutions meet government standards for security, scalability, performance, and accessibility.
- Evaluate existing systems and recommend improvements or modernisation strategies to optimise performance and user experience.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide resolution plans to minimise project disruptions.
Key Experience and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in solution engineering, system design, or technical architecture, preferably in a government or regulated environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, software engineering, or a related field.
- Relevant (up-to date) certifications in relevant technologies on frameworks such as: AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent cloud certifications. TOGAF, ITIL, Cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
- Proven experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and compliant technical solutions.
- Proficiency in programming languages.
- Strong knowledge of API design and integration.
- Familiarity with enterprise systems, cloud platforms, and database technologies.
- Understanding of networking, infrastructure and IT operations.
