We're partnering with a respected WA organisation to appoint a site-based HR professional who thrives in a hands-on environment and understands the value of building trust on the ground.
This full-time Geraldton based role supports operational leaders and teams across multiple local work sites. Geraldton is a thriving regional hub with a strong connection to both community and industry, and this role offers the chance to be at the centre of growth across mining, logistics and related sectors. It's a high-impact position where you'll provide day-to-day HR support, help navigate change and play a key part in building a values-aligned culture.
No two days look the same. Supported by your HR colleagues, you'll build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. From the yard to the boardroom, you'll be the go-to person for people matters – someone who can read the room, build trust quickly, and quietly get things done. This is a newly created role, driven by growth and increasing demand, and offers the chance to make your mark in a business that genuinely values its people.
What you'll be doing:
* Partnering with supervisors and managers on HR matters ranging from onboarding to conduct, performance, IR and injury management
* Coaching frontline leaders and supporting them through people related challenges
* Responding to on the ground HR issues with sound judgement and a calm, considered approach
* Supporting change, workforce planning and capability initiatives
* Working closely with WHS and operations teams to create a safe and compliant environment

What we're looking for:
* 5 years' experience in a generalist HR or HRBP role, ideally in operational or multi-site environments
* Strong knowledge of Australian HR legislation and frameworks, including Fair Work, Awards, ER and IR matters.
* A relationship builder with excellent interpersonal skills and a bias for action
* Able to work autonomously, manage sensitive matters, and build quiet influence
* Based in or open to relocating to Geraldton
