Key Sales Executive Position
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a defined territory of retail stores, taking ownership of mini group accounts and ensuring strong relationships, strategic growth and executional excellence across all touchpoints.
This critical role involves managing a defined geographical area of stores within South Australia, ensuring territory sales targets are met or exceeded. The successful applicant will take end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of mini group accounts (multi-site independents or small chains), including negotiation, promotional planning and relationship development.
Key Requirements:
* Territory Management: Manage a defined geographical area of stores within South Australia, ensuring territory sales targets are met or exceeded.
* Account Management – Mini Groups: Take end-to-end responsibility for a portfolio of mini group accounts (multi-site independents or small chains), including negotiation, promotional planning and relationship development.
* Execution Excellence: Implement and maintain best-in-class execution across product visibility, availability, planogram compliance and promotional activity.
* Customer Relationship Building: Build strong, long-term relationships with store managers, group buyers and key decision-makers to drive brand advocacy and sales growth.
* Data & Insights: Use sales data and reporting tools to identify opportunities, track performance and support fact-based selling.
* Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with internal teams including marketing, category management and logistics to deliver tailored solutions and ensure smooth execution.
* Mentorship & Leadership: Act as a senior member of the field team, offering mentorship and guidance to junior representatives as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience as a Sales Representative, National Account Executive, Key Account Manager or similar level.
* Proven experience managing independent retailers and/or mini group accounts.
* Strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills and data-driven decision-making.
* Ability to work autonomously in the field and manage a flexible schedule.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in MS Office and CRM/reporting systems.
* Current driver's license and willingness to travel across South Australia as required.
