About The Role
As Corporate Finance Manager, you'll lead a dynamic team comprising the Corporate Finance, Payroll, and Transactional Services functions.
This pivotal role oversees Capricorn Group's financial statutory reporting, investment reporting, banking relationships, tax advisory, payroll, transactional services, and financial risk management.
You'll be instrumental in driving continuous improvement across finance operations, championing automation, and strengthening the control environment.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the Corporate Finance, Payroll, and Transactional Services teams
Oversee statutory financial reporting and investment reporting for the Group
Manage core banking relationships and provide tax advisory support
Drive initiatives to streamline and automate finance processes
Enhance financial controls and risk management frameworks
What You'll Bring
Skills & Knowledge
Deep expertise in AASB statutory reporting and income tax legislation
Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate financial insights into business improvements
Familiarity with New Zealand accounting and tax frameworks (desirable but not essential)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and ERP systems
Experience
7–10 years post-qualification experience in a similar finance leadership role
Proven track record in managing and developing high-performing teams
Qualifications
CA or CPA qualified
Degree in Commerce, Business, or a related field
