The Opportunity
Support stronger families and strengthen the community as the first point of contact for children and families accessing Kambu Health's Family Wellbeing Service. This role involves creating a safe, respectful, and culturally supportive environment where community members feel welcomed and valued. Working closely with the Team Leader, you will provide high-quality administrative support to ensure service efficiency and improved outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children.
What You'll Do
· Welcome clients and visitors in a culturally respectful manner
· Manage phone calls, enquiries, and messages promptly
· Maintain a professional and confidential reception environment
· Manage referrals, bookings, and service coordination
· Maintain accurate electronic client records and data
· Assist with reporting, documentation, and general administration
· Contribute to quality improvement and follow organisational procedures
About You
· Organised and dependable nature with pride in delivering high-quality work
· Clear and professional communication skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
· Proven experience in an administration role, with family services experience considered desirable
· Good computer skills and experience with electronic record systems
· An understanding of community services or family support environments
· Current Driver's Licence
· A valid Blue Card / Working with Children Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
· A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
· Immunisation: Hepatitis B (mandatory)
· Current First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
