About the Role
As our Glazing & Project Coordinator, you will manage the end‐to‐end delivery of glazing and fit‐out projects—from planning and take‐offs through to scheduling, onsite coordination, customer communication and close‐out.
You'll work closely with our Building & Fit‐Out team, Technical Sales, Metro Operations and our skilled glaziers to keep projects running safely, smoothly and on schedule.
Your day will include reviewing plans, preparing accurate cutting sheets, organising materials, coordinating people and contractors, managing variations, maintaining timelines and ensuring each job meets O'Brien standards. This is a role with variety, autonomy and the opportunity to make a real impact across the branch.
What You'll Bring
You're experienced in commercial glazing, confident on‐site and comfortable coordinating people, materials and project timelines. You communicate well with builders, shopfitters, B2B customers and internal teams.
Key attributes include:
* Commercial glazing experience with strong technical skills
* Proven project coordination or site supervision experience
* Strong plan‐reading ability, including producing cutting sheets and material take‐offs
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Cert III in Glass & Glazing (AGGA/AS1288 competency)
* A positive, reliable and team‐first approach
Desirable:
Logikal experience, scheduling knowledge, project management training and exposure to insurance, B2B or fit‐out environments.
