Role Summary
Epworth Eastern has opportunities to join our supportive team on a casual, part-time or full-time basis as a Theatre Technician. Join our agile team that is committed to delivering an exceptional patient experience with a focus on safety first. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, patient care, handling equipment, and transportation services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.
Key Responsibilities
* Assisting clinicians and team members with patient preparation
* Preparing and maintaining operating suite equipment
* Providing safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfers
Requirements
* Must have completed a Certificate III Theatre Technician qualification
* Minimum 12 months clinical experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatre
* Clear understanding and use of medical terminology
* Understanding of, and ability to set-up medical devices / theatres
