About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced Psychologist, who possesses exceptional leadership skills to join the Rehabilitation, Aged and Community Services (RACS) team as the Psychology and Counselling Manager.

As the Psychology and Counselling Manager, you will be overseeing a multidisciplinary team, who provides inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services at our University of Canberra Hospital campus, as well as at our Canberra Hospital campus who provide inpatient services. You will be responsible for the strategic direction of the team, whilst also providing clinical interventions and professional advice across a range of clinical areas. You will also be consulting and liaising with external agencies to develop partnerships for health promotion and other service delivery activities. In addition, you will be providing professional leadership to actively support teaching and training activities across the team.

This position will be filled by either a Clinical Psychologist or Neuropsychologist who has proven leadership experience in clinical services development and management. Experience in working with and managing a multidisciplinary team will be highly regarded.

* Comply with Canberra Health Services Occupational Assessment, Screening and Vaccination policy.
* Comply with CHS credentialing and scope of clinical practice requirements for allied health professionals.

Note: A merit pool may be created from this recruitment process and remain valid for 12 months. This pool may be used to fill both permanent and temporary positions across CHS.
