Speech Pathologist Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Speech Pathologist to manage a caseload in the Gympie region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages
* Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs and goals
* Providing therapy sessions to help patients improve their communication skills and overcome challenges
* Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic care for patients
* Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records, progress notes, and reports
* Educating and supporting families and caregivers on communication strategies and techniques
* Staying updated on the latest research and evidence-based practices in speech pathology
* Participating in team meetings and contributing to the continuous improvement of services
* Managing caseloads effectively and meeting reporting requirements
Key Requirements
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech Pathology from an accredited institution
* Current registration with Speech Pathology Australia
* Good knowledge of speech and language development, communication disorders, and treatment approaches
* Experience working with diverse patient populations, including children and adults with disabilities
* Familiarity with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its processes
