Operate off-coil machines to shape and cut reinforcing bars and mesh Input job tags on machines to produce steel products Operate an overhead crane and forklift Accurately pick and pack orders Load and unload trucks for customers or our drivers Promote and contribute to a safe workplace To be mechanically minded is a bonus! Night shift from 9pm to 5.06am, $42.91 to $47.33/hr depending on experience and licences All positions commence as casual with view to permanent transition after 6 months. Machine operators: load 4 tonne wire coils (12/16/20mm diameter) and steel reinforcing bar through machine (2-12m lengths) Need to be able to read a tape measure and enter info into machine computer. Crane operators: no licence required as under 10 tonnes, 2 weeks' training provided on site. IMPORTANT: All employees will be required to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screen prior to commencement.
