About the Role
Reporting directly to the House Managers, the Disability Support Worker plays a vital role in delivering culturally appropriate and person-centred support. This role focuses on building the capacity of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander NDIS participants, helping them achieve their personal goals and lead enriched, independent lives.
Support Workers are responsible for a variety of daily tasks and are expected to apply NDIS knowledge effectively. A positive attitude and commitment to best-practice support are essential in providing high-quality care to our clients.
Essential Requirements
* Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
* Current Driver's Licence
* Access to a registered, insured, and reliable vehicle
* Ability to work flexible hours, including a 24/7 rotating roster (Monday to Sunday)
* Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module (online training)
