Housekeeping Supervisor Role
The Housekeeping Supervisor will lead a high-functioning housekeeping service, ensuring the care home is always clean and well-presented.
* Effectively lead the housekeeping function of the care home.
* Ensure cleaning and laundry services are delivered to the highest standards.
Key skills include prioritizing work, strong communication and problem-solving abilities, and experience in aged care or hotel environments. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of housekeeping staff, overseeing the cleaning and maintenance of all areas within the care home, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and quality of service.
Responsibilities:
* Team Management: Lead and manage a team of housekeeping staff to ensure that they have the necessary resources and support to perform their duties effectively.
* Cleaning and Maintenance: Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all areas within the care home, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal areas.
* Quality Assurance: Implement and maintain a quality assurance program to ensure that all cleaning and maintenance activities meet the required standards.
* Inventory Management: Manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to ensure that there is sufficient stock available at all times.
Requirements:
* Experience: Proven experience in a similar role or in a related field such as hospitality or healthcare.
* Skills: Excellent leadership and management skills, ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively, strong communication and problem-solving skills.
* Qualifications: Relevant qualifications or certifications in housekeeping or a related field would be an advantage.
