Salary – Clerk Grade 1/2 ($70,694 - $76,857) + Super
The Role
Located in the courts, the Client Services Officer provides a range of clerical and administrative services including, but not limited to, responding to client enquiries, data entry and records management. The Client Services Officer is primarily involved in assisting in the operation of court rooms meaning there will be exposure to sensitive information and materials. This role will require you to attend the office/court every day and will require you to liaise face to face with members of the public including offenders and other stakeholders. As a Client Service Officer you will be working either in the Court room or the Registry. On the job training, and support, will be provided to successful applicants performing this role.
What you’ll do
In this role, you will be responsible for:
1. Supporting the efficient operation of the court including liaising effectively with a wide range of stakeholders
2. Anticipating the requirements of the judiciary and other key stakeholders in the courtroom environment and provides a timely and effective response
3. Providing a high level of clerical and administrative support to the court and registry
4. Using computer systems to accurately enter data
5. Providing high quality client services
6. Supporting the effective implementation of improved work practices
7. Adapting to work in different jurisdictions
