This seasoned professional will possess a demonstrated track record of success in developing strategies and executing plans to increase sales from existing accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our presence in onshore & offshore markets.
* Customer Engagement: Establish and maintain robust relationships with key stakeholders, including Owners, Operators, EPCs, and contractors, to understand their needs and project requirements.
* Strategic Sales Approach: Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with industry trends, market demands, and company objectives.
* Project Management: Track major projects from early design stages to procurement and execution, ensuring we are well-positioned to supply solutions tailored to customer needs.
* Technical Consultation: Provide expert technical and commercial support, collaborating with internal teams to deliver bespoke solutions that meet customer expectations.
* Market Intelligence: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments to identify risks and opportunities.
* Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of business strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* At least 5 years of direct technical business selling experience preferably in the oil and gas industry.
* Engineering degree or equivalent.
* Able to carry themselves professionally to build relationships at different levels - C-suite and operations level executives, as well as with internal stakeholders.
* Must be comfortable travelling domestically for work.
* Demonstrated strong sense of achievement in their line of work.
* Comfortable working independently and proactive in reaching out when in need of support.
