The South Brisbane Day Hospital has facilities that boast leading edge technologies and state of the art equipment that are housed in the 5 x operating theatres and 1 x procedure room.
The theatres are available to a wide range of specialties including Ophthalmology, Plastic Surgery, Maxillo-facial procedures. We are licensed for paediatric patients through to adults.
This Recovery RN role will be a valued member of our team. This role requires a communicator with a strong focus on quality. You will be a valued member of a multi-disciplinary team that also focuses on excellence in clinical care, commitment to research and teaching. You will work in First Stage recovery and assist with the discharge of patients in our Second Stage recovery lounge.
What we are looking for:
* An experienced RN who can demonstrate advanced skills and experience in this area
* Completed a Grad Program in a tertiary hospital or relevant experience
* Minimum of 4 years' experience in a hospital environment - previous or current paediatric experience valued
* ALS Certification desirable but not essential
* Excellent Communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to react promptly to urgent and emergency situation
* A friendly team member with a "can do attitude"

We will consider full-time and part-time candidates for this role. Full-time staff work 4 days per week. Part-Time we are open to discussing a variety of shift allocations.
