Key Account Manager (KAM)
As a Key Account Manager at Leafio, you will be responsible for growing, sustaining, and nurturing the relationship between Leafio and key pharmacy customers. This hybrid role includes managing existing accounts, acquiring new business, and delivering high‐quality end‐to‐end account management to drive order volume and revenue growth across the assigned territory.
Job Description
You will manage around 65 key pharmacy accounts, ensuring day‐to‐day operations, resolving partner issues, and creating tools for long‐term success. Your role is both strategic and operational, requiring regular travel to pharmacy partners throughout Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, and up to Rockhampton.
Key Responsibilities
* Driving Order Volume Growth
o From existing accounts:
+ Develop a complete understanding of pharmacy needs to help growth via ordering consolidation.
+ Increase order volume within the designated territory by establishing strong relationships with existing pharmacy partners and achieving monthly targets.
+ Acquire referrals from pharmacy partners to prescribing doctors and clinics.
o From new accounts:
+ Prospect and acquire new pharmacy partners to the Leafio platform, converting leads into valuable partnerships through incubating new accounts to maturity.
* Relationship Building
o Cultivate and maintain trusting relationships between Montu and pharmacy partners, acting as their dedicated point of contact.
o Address partner issues promptly to maintain positive relationships and ensure resolutions are achieved.
* Strategic Initiatives
o Collaborate with the marketing team to identify and develop new value‐added initiatives that enhance the partnership experience.
o Collaborate with the Montu product category team to share and develop trends and initiatives from market insight.
o Engage in strategic planning to improve pharmacy results and drive mutual success.
o Prepare and deliver regular reports on account progress, goals, and initiatives for internal teams, stakeholders, and potential use in case studies or training sessions.
Qualifications
* 5+ years of in‐person key account management experience, preferably managing a similar amount of accounts.
* Experience owning and managing a territory where customers are visited face‐to‐face.
* Demonstrated ability to drive commercial outcomes and meet sales targets.
* Experience in industries with short sales cycles is highly desirable.
* Strong communication and relationship‐building skills.
* Proficiency in conducting market analysis and staying abreast of industry trends.
