We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Engineer to lead the planning, optimisation, and innovation of our manufacturing operations. This is a position that requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive continuous improvement across plant operations. Experience with EPS and cement based production. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring that our equipment, systems, and processes operate at maximum efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
· Plan, direct, and coordinate engineering activities relating to the performance, maintenance, and improvement of production systems.
· Conduct detailed analysis of operational data, production schedules, and resource allocation to optimise workforce and equipment efficiency.
· Oversee the design, construction, and modification of plant equipment and layouts to support business growth and sustainability objectives.
· Establish and implement standards, policies, and procedures in line with engineering principles, quality assurance requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
· Lead and manage projects relating to new plant designs, system upgrades, and equipment integrations.
· Direct maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance of plant infrastructure, machinery, and facilities.
· Partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in production processes.
· Ensure compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Requirements
· Bachelor's degree in Industrial, or Production Engineering.
· Minimum 5+ years of engineering or production experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, with a strong focus on EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) and cement-based production processes.
· Demonstrated expertise in plant design, process optimisation, and large-scale project delivery.
· Advanced proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering design software.
· Knowledge in project management, including planning, execution, and stakeholder coordination.
· Registration or licensing as a Professional Engineer (preferred).
· Australia/New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.
