CSR's AFS business is on the hunt for a driven Production Supervisor to lead our afternoon shift operations in Minto. This is your opportunity to lead from the floor in a business that backs its leaders, values safety, and invests in its people. You'll oversee a team producing our innovative Rediwall systems — a permanent formwork solution changing how Australia builds.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you'll take full ownership of the PM shift (10 staff a mix of permanent and casual employees) ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. You'll be hands-on with extruder setup and changeovers, lead daily operations, and act as first responder to any technical issues.
Afternoon shift (2pm-10pm), Permanent Full-Time
What you'll do:
* Run and maintain extrusion lines — including start-up, changeovers, and quality checks
* Coach, lead, and organise shift team rosters, breaks, and coverage
* Ensure safety systems and WHS practices are followed and improved
* Monitor and report on production KPIs, escalate issues, and support CI projects
* Support cross-shift communication and planning
* Act as a key liaison with maintenance, quality, and production planning teams
What you'll bring:
* Strong experience in manufacturing or production – plastics/extrusions or injection moulding a huge plus
* Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
* Proven leadership of frontline teams or experience as a 2IC ready to step up
* Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
* Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office) and strong communication
