About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Nurse to join our team in Brisbane. As a key member of our Community Veterinary Clinic, you will provide exceptional nursing care and support to our veterinary team.
In this rewarding role, you will work closely with our experienced veterinarians and nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to the overall well-being of our patients.
Your expertise will be utilized to support routine examinations, surgical procedures, and other critical care activities. You will also play a vital role in maintaining a safe and clean environment for our patients and staff.

Key Responsibilities
* Support veterinarians with routine examinations and consultations
* Prepare and implement surgery schedules
* Provide veterinary nursing care and grief support to clients
* Nurse hospitalised animals, monitor clinical signs, and communicate with owners
* Assist in radiography, surgical procedures, and monitor patient anesthesia and post-operative procedures

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing or recognised equivalent
* Minimum of 1+ years' vet nursing experience
* Excellent animal handling skills
* Experience in a busy, fast-paced work environment
* Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
