We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Officer to join our team in Cairns, Queensland. The successful candidate will provide expert legal advice to Traditional Owners and support governance matters related to native title.
Key Responsibilities
* Negotiate Indigenous Land Use Agreements on behalf of our clients
* Assist with compliance for Prescribed Bodies Corporate, ensuring seamless delivery of projects
Requirements
* A minimum of five years of legal experience, with a strong focus on native title
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with Traditional Owners and other stakeholders
