Currently Acostar has an opportunity as a Customer Service Manager to effectively lead and nurture our Customer service team.
Key duties performed for this role include:
* Monday to Friday with rotation weekends as required
* Prepare and present weekly, monthly reporting on customer service function
* Oversee daily administrative function, including correct data entry, development of team members, problem solving and providing consistent outcomes
* Drive continuous improvement in administrative processes and operational efficiency
* Liaise with customers via phone, email and face‑to‑face, ensuring queries are resolved promptly
* Problem solve with transport function to achieve the best outcome; transport knowledge is very advantageous
* Customer retention and value/solution driven approach to solve day‑to‑day challenges and longer‑term goals
To be successful for this position you must be able to demonstrate and meet the following criteria:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a transport administrative environment
* Strong organisational skills and confidence managing competing priorities
* Maturity, professionalism and nurturing communication skills
* Experience supervising or leading a team of customer service representatives
* Ability to pick up new systems quickly and drive process improvements
* High attention to detail and a proactive, solutions‑focused approach
* Australian citizenship or Permanent Residency with unrestricted working rights
